While looking for more demos using Speed Demon's work, I stumbled across this demo from an obscure Canadian group called "White Plague Incorporated" Looking further, I discovered that this was the actual roots of NTSC powerhouse "Plague", of "Grand Posse" fame.  It's always interesting to see the a good group's first foray into demomaking.  While this isn't on par with their later work, the techniques they describe in the scrolltext (crossdev with Turbo Pascal) clearly indicate the level of skill they'd show in later releases.  Note:  I've removed a racial slur from the scrolltext to meet my own standards of decency and community standards for youtube. Aside from that, this demo is presented in its original state.  Keep It Oldschool!

The latest demo I was able to find from Arson, this one really does seem to be some of their best work. There are really great effects in here, including some creative pages that really depart from the usual. This one's a must-have for your NTSC collection, hats off to the crew of Arson! Keep It Oldschool!

A Canadian group from the early 90s, Excalibur went through a few incarnations before fizzling out in 1992. There's a certain feeling that goes with anything from that period in the c64's history - a kind of sensation that comes with seeing a TSM intro, for instance - and I think EXC intros capture it completely. This video contains the 6 of their intros that I was able to track down - I'll revise it if more turn up. Enjoy, and ... Keep It Oldschool!
